Congratulations to Ashley & Nick. Enjoy their sneak peek photos from their Langdon Farms Wedding.
Some weddings prove that a little Oregon rain can’t overshadow a beautiful love story, and this Langdon Farms Wedding for Nick and Ashley was the perfect example. From the quiet excitement of getting ready to a magical sparkler exit under finally-clearing skies, every part of their day was filled with heartfelt moments, incredible family support, and the reminder that sometimes the best wedding days don’t go exactly as planned—they turn out even better.

A Cozy Morning of Getting Ready
Nick and Ashley began their wedding day surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. Ashley spent the morning laughing with her bridesmaids while Mutual Babe created her flawless makeup look and Karen Brown styled her hair into an elegant bridal look that perfectly complemented her gown.
One of my favorite moments from the morning was watching Ashley step into her dress with the help of her bridesmaids. There is always something special about those quiet moments before the day officially begins—the anticipation, excitement, and the joy of it all coming together on such a special day.
Meanwhile, Nick shared a relaxed morning with his groomsmen, complete with plenty of laughter and a few lighthearted moments that helped keep everyone at ease before the ceremony.

The First Look
We love a first look, and Nick and Ashley’s did not disappoint. The moment Nick turned around and saw Ashley in her dress for the first time is the kind of thing you cannot stage and cannot plan for. It just happens — and we were right there for it.

Rain Couldn’t Dampen This Langdon Farms Wedding
If you’ve planned a wedding in Oregon, you know that rain is always a possibility. On June 27th, the forecast was right—the rain never really stopped.
Fortunately, Langdon Farms offers beautiful covered spaces that allow couples to enjoy the best of the property regardless of the weather. Their charming wraparound porches, elegant indoor spaces, and picturesque grounds gave us countless opportunities to create romantic portraits while keeping everyone comfortable and dry.

Family Made Every Detail Extra Meaningful
One of the things we loved most about this wedding was how many personal touches came from family members.
Ashley’s aunt, Christy, designed all of the gorgeous floral arrangements and décor. The classic palette of rich reds, crisp whites, and lush greenery looked stunning throughout the venue and added such a timeless elegance to the day.
Their beautiful paper goods and signage, designed by Fior Design Studio, set the tone from the very beginning, while guests were treated to an incredible dessert spread from Lux Sucre Desserts along with a beautiful wedding cake created by Ellie’s Sweet Treats.
Perhaps the most meaningful role of all belonged to the bride’s uncle, Steve, who not only officiated the ceremony but also served as the DJ for the evening. Having a family member guide both the ceremony and celebration made the entire day feel even more personal and intimate.
A Ceremony Filled With Emotion
As Ashley walked down the aisle, every eye was on her—including Nick’s. The emotion on his face said everything.
Their ceremony was heartfelt, joyful, and deeply personal thanks to Steve’s warm words and the obvious love surrounding them. Rose petals lined the aisle, family and friends smiled through happy tears, and despite the steady rain outside, the room felt incredibly warm.

Portraits in the Rain
Here’s the thing about Oregon rain: it’s moody and beautiful and honestly kind of magic when you lean into it. We grabbed clear umbrellas and found our moments on the grounds. The rolling green fairways of Langdon Farms gave us a backdrop that felt cinematic even under overcast skies.
Ashley looked effortless. Nick couldn’t stop looking at her.

The Reception – A Perfect Ending
As evening settled in, the celebration continued with heartfelt toasts, dancing, cake cutting, and lots of laughter. The reception was a full celebration — desserts by Lux Sucré for the guests, a beautiful wedding cake by Ellie’s Sweet Treats, and a dance floor that didn’t empty until it was time to go. The whole room felt like exactly what a wedding reception should feel like: people who love each other, together, celebrating something real.

The Sparkler Exit
The rain held off just long enough. As Nick and Ashley walked out under a tunnel of sparklers at the end of the night, the skies finally cleared. Like the universe decided to give them one perfect, glittering send-off. Guests gathered outside, lit their sparklers, and sent Nick and Ashley off into the night surrounded by cheers, glowing light, and huge smiles. After a day of rain, it felt like the perfect ending to an unforgettable celebration. We couldn’t have scripted it better.

Ashley and Nick, thank you for letting us be part of your day. We don’t take lightly the trust couples place in us when they hand over something this special, and we hope these images give you something to hold onto for a very, very long time.
