An Oregon Wine Country Wedding doesn’t have to take place at a traditional winery to capture the relaxed beauty and natural character of the Willamette Valley — and Ethan and Isabella’s September wedding in Yamhill was a perfect example.
Their fall wedding took place entirely at the bride’s family home and property in Yamhill, Oregon, creating a celebration that felt personal from beginning to end. The event was expertly coordinated by Traci with Bridal Besties by Traci. With towering trees, open green spaces and a beautiful wooded setting surrounding the property, there was no shortage of places to explore for portraits and quiet moments throughout the day.

Getting Ready at Home
The day began at the family property, where everyone gathered to get ready. Isabella wore a classic gown from Charlotte’s Weddings, while the blue floral garden-party theme came through in the details, florals and wedding-party attire.
There was a relaxed feeling as the final preparations came together, including a few especially meaningful moments between Isabella and the people closest to her. Isabella’s hair and makeup was done by Beauty Beyond by Clelia. Ethan prepared nearby in a handsome tailored suit, surrounded by the warm wood and stone details of one of the family homes.
A First Look & Private Vows
Rather than waiting until the ceremony to share their vows, Ethan and Isabella chose to exchange private vows during their first look. We love when couples make room for something like this on their wedding day. It gives them a chance to slow down, take a breath and focus on each other before the rest of the celebration begins.
After their private moment together, we spent some time exploring the property for portraits. The mature trees and natural surroundings gave us plenty of variety, from intimate portraits beneath the trees to larger environmental images that showed off the setting.
The blue-and-white floral color palette fit beautifully against all that Oregon greenery.
A Garden Ceremony in Yamhill
Guests gathered outside for the ceremony, surrounded by trees and an elegant garden-inspired setting. Morgan, Isabella’s cousin, officiated the ceremony, adding another personal connection to a day that was already filled with family.
Once the ceremony was over, we captured family and wedding-party portraits before giving Ethan and Isabella more time together. One of my favorite things about photographing a wedding at a private family property is that there is often room to let the day unfold naturally rather than moving from one predetermined location to the next.
Dinner, Dancing & a Few Surprises
The reception continued the blue floral garden-party theme with beautiful tablescapes, fresh florals and an outdoor setting perfect for celebrating with family and friends on a beautiful sunny fall day. Signature Affair Catering provided a delicious dinner, with Lux Sucre creating the wedding cake and desserts.
As the evening progressed, NW Mobile DJ Service kept everyone on the dance floor. But the biggest surprise was still to come.
Before their grand exit, Ethan and Isabella stepped away for a surprise haircut and wardrobe change. It was such a fun way to transition from the more formal part of the wedding day into the final celebration of the night.
A Sparkler Exit to Remember
Then everyone gathered outside for the grand finale. With sparklers lighting the path, Ethan and Isabella made their way through a cheering crowd of family and friends. It was a fitting ending to a wedding day that was equal parts elegant, personal and genuinely fun.
